Before Epal
Hey! My name is Chey, short for Cheyenne. I‘m 21 years old and i live in Germany with my 8 babies. I‘m a huge fan of gaming and just talking to people. Writing and drawing are my absolute go-tos!
Before Epal I was not a big gamer at all. Some people would say i was a big introvert because i appreciated the time on my own and with my own thoughts. I struggled a lot with my mental health, self isolation and just keeping people on a distance. Some people i have met online helped me become a better version of myself. I was 17 when i found out about Epal. At first i thought it was too funny to be true, so i turned my back to that thought.
Around December 2022, I remembered someone telling me about Epal. I decided to look up the website and was hit with their Discord Server! Immediately i realized me and a lot of these people have more in common than i assumed. Interests, habits and so on. On that Server i have made so many good friends that stayed with me until today. People I can still talk to about anything and the world if it came down to it.
But then came the actual thing.
Join Epal
Back when I signed up to Epal it was easy! And thank god I enjoyed that. All i had was a shady laptop that worked maybe 40% of games. And I was not able to play Valorant back then. But even with only E-Chat, I managed to climb my way up and even got a proper PC! After that, everything went amazingly smooth. I got to play more games, meet more people and also become an even better version of myself.
Now its been almost 4 years that i‘ve spend on Epal. Crazy right? And the people on this website still have a special place in my heart. Especially the ones that are still with me until this day.
After Epal
A lot changed after I‘ve started on Epal. I learned it’s not a bad thing to meet new people and maybe have disagreements about stuff. I became who i am today. And honestly? I am happy, very happy. Epal showed me so much, I‘ve always known i can be better and Epal just helped me be a better version of myself.
Epal also gave me the opportunity to be able to support more stray cats. By now I adopted 8 cats from the streets and probably saved their life with that. Wait, you don’t know their names? Lets get it! Monte (chonk), Lucifer, Little Lady, Miffi, Fae, Fridolin, Manfred, Simba. And now, i wanted to thank Epal again for giving me the opportunity to help more cats and also donate to shelters in my area.
