Hi! I’m Salt, a 20 – year – old medical student hailing from the idyllic town of Senlis, France. The cobblestone streets and ancient architecture of Senlis have been the backdrop of my life since I was born. Being a twin sister has always added a unique dynamic to my world, and I’m constantly grateful for the bond I share with my sibling.
My ability to be fluent in both French and English, nurtured from a young age through a combination of family influence and excellent educational opportunities, has truly been a passport to a wealth of experiences. Little did I know that this linguistic advantage would play a significant role in my journey on E-Pal.
Why chose e-Pal
My journey on E-Pal began precisely half a year ago, and it has indelibly transformed my life in ways I could scarcely have imagined. In Senlis, the job landscape is a challenging one. The majority of employers demand a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience and a degree, prerequisites that are far beyond my reach as a 20 – year – old still knee – deep in my medical studies. The weight of financial responsibility loomed large over me, as I needed to earn money to support my day – to – day life, all while juggling the intense workload of medical school.
Searching for suitable employment was an arduous and often disheartening task. Time and time again, I faced rejection, and when I did manage to secure a job, the pay was barely enough to cover my basic expenses. It was a frustrating cycle that left me feeling discouraged. Then, I recalled an advertisement I saw back in 2022. It was for a platform where people could come together to play games, build friendships, and even earn an income. But when the company underwent a rebranding and became Epal, tracking down this potential solution became a Herculean task.
I spent countless hours scouring the internet, clicking through page after page of search results, my hope gradually waning. There were moments when I was on the verge of giving up, convinced that this opportunity had slipped through my fingers. From the moment I joined Epal, my life took a remarkable turn. Epal is not just a website; it’s a warm, embracing community that has become a second family to me. I have a beloved Boston Terrier dog named Flash, who is 9 years old and the light of my life. Sharing pictures and heartwarming stories about Flash with my Epal friends has been a source of endless joy. In return, I’ve been regaled with tales of their own furry companions, forging connections over our shared love for our pets.
In my free time, I’m passionate about playing the violin, hitting the gym to stay fit, and unwinding with some immersive video games. Through E-Pal, I’ve had the incredible fortune of meeting like – minded individuals who share these very hobbies. One of my closest friends on Epal,, is a fellow violin enthusiast. We’ve spent hours on video calls, sharing sheet music, discussing different bowing techniques, and even performing duets together. Another friend I met is as dedicated to fitness as I am. We exchange workout routines, cheer each other on during challenging workouts, and share our progress over time.
Regardless of the numerous challenges and setbacks I’ve encountered in my life, Epal has remained a constant source of support. It has provided me with a sense of belonging and a means to earn an income that has been a lifesaver. The extra money I’ve earned through E-Pal has been crucial in helping me pay for various bills, especially those related to my health and my education as a medical student. It has alleviated the financial stress that often accompanied my academic journey, allowing me to focus more on my studies and personal growth.
